Today I happily cooked up some clams with pasta. It's been getting more difficult to find clams lately. Either the stores don't have them or they're the really big ones. I finally managed to get some baby clams.

Spaghetti with Clams in a Red Wine Tomato Sauce

Tonight I popped over to Ben's place with my computer as I'd gotten some viruses and Windows wasn't loading up. That's why I've been so behind on my posts lately. I've been without a computer for about two weeks. I haven't missed it much since I've been busy on my holidays (I've taken annual leave for most of May) and my aunty and cousin are visiting from Singapore in a few days time so I will be busy spending time with them.

Ben had been busy in the kitchen all day. He made some banana bread and a lamb soup. I was just in time to watch him get stuck into it with the blender. It turned out to be a really thick soup - more like a stew. But it was delicous!! It looked like tuna mornay or dog food (heehee no offence Ben!!) but tasted great. I especially liked how some of the corn kernels were still whole and added some texture to the soup.

When Sarah got home from work we headed out to the new Rifo's restaurant that's opened recently in Victoria Park.

Sarah's bruschetta and my steak with salad and chips. Yummo!
