For starters, we loved the freshly baked bread rolls served with a trio of dips.
Jocelyn and I ordered the Prawn Linguine for our entree while Mum had the Goats Cheese Tart. Both were really good.
For their mains, Mum and Jocelyn had the Grilled Barramundi which is what I should have ordered. However, I went with the Sirloin and was greatly disappointed when instead of being medium, it was really well done. I sent it back and was annoyed when it came back to me well done again, but with superfluous pan juices spooned over it. Jocelyn ate most of it for me while I left lunch feeling unsatisfied.
The dessert was ok. Not being much of a dessert person, I barely got through the little scoop of berry sorbet because it was just oh too sweet. Jocelyn and Mum loved the cake though.
Jocelyn returned home while I accompanied Mum to the casino for a few hours. Feeling overwhelmed by the need for sleep, I came home and Christina went to pick Mum up when she got home from her trip down south. For dinner they brought back some barbecued meats from The Good One and some chicken rice from Ten Ten in Victoria Park. Yummy!!
