For dinner:

Porterhouse with Garlic & Chilli
served on a bed of Potato Mash
and Mushroom & Spinach sauteed in butter

I bought some groceries on the way home from work and set about preparing meals for tomorrow at work. I forgot to buy lettuce, thinking that I had some at home, so I took the torch outside in the dark and picked some mizuna and mustard leaves from my garden to use instead.

Pita with ham, cheese, sundried tomato
and fresh greens from my garden

Chicken Pie with celery, carrot, peas
and Mashed Potato

I started the pie filling by frying some garlic and onion in olive oil. I browned the chicken, then added the celery and carrots and fried them until they were soft. I turned it into a roux by adding some butter and plain flour. Next, I added a bit of chicken stock and the peas last so that they wouldn't get over cooked and become a mush. The mashed potato I made separately and topped off the filling in my little corningware bowl. Into the oven until the mashed potato started to brown.
