I went to Kabuki on Albany Highway, Victoria Park, where I got myself the Unagi Don and Marissa the Teriyaki Chicken Don. When I got to work, Marissa was having her late lunch in the tea room so we had our miso soup together.

I love LOVE LOVE the salad dressing that they use to make this salad that you get in most Japanese places. I've yet to google it to find out exactly what's in it and to try my hand at making it one day. I've started watching a cartoon series from the 80's that I used to watch growing up. Anyone remember it? Jem & the Holograms. I've only managed to download seasons 1 and 2...need to hunt down the rest of the series.
I rushed home after work to quickly prepare my steak dinner. I'm on call tonight so I was praying I wouldn't get paged half way through cooking my steak. It would just ruin my steak if I had to stop cooking and continue later on. Luck was on my side as I plated up and polished up.

I love tabouli (also known as tabbouleh). I used to eat it all the time when I worked at Simply Delicious at uni. I'd get a tub of salad with the tabouli, greek salad and the lima beans. That made an awesome mixture of flavours. Mum knows that I'm quite fond of it so she regularly brings some home from work for me. She still works at Simply Delicious!
