Tom Yum Bee Hoon Soup
I had a craving for laksa tonight. I got home and went straight to the fridge to see if we had any laksa soup paste. I spotted a jar and rushed off to shower and change into my PJ's before returning to the kitchen to cook.
Alas! I don't know whether it was my exhaustion after a hectic night at work, or a matter of me seeing what I wanted to see. The jar of paste in the fridge wasn't laksa paste...it was tom yum paste! I stared at the words on the jar and don't know how I managed to read it as being laksa. I already was halfway through preparing the food, so I just had to sigh and psyche myself up for tom yum.
