Last night I took some panadeine forte which is prescription only - powerful stuff. I was prescribed it a few years back when I did my neck in and couldn't move it. Last time I took one and it knocked me out within minutes. I only use it when I have a migraine and before crawling into bed. It must have worked because I slept through most of the night without getting up but in the morning I still felt the hammering pain in the right side of my head. I forced myself to get up and take a cold shower and then got back into bed with Simba.

By the late afternoon, I felt better and decided to get some fresh air. Simba was eager to go for a walk so I took him. It was nice to get outside. The weather's been sunny and warm during the day, but still freezing at night. This could be the reason for my migraine in the first place. I usually get them when the weather changes abruptly. And getting no sleep at night doesn't help.

I spent the evening in the kitchen. I made a moussaka with variations. I layered eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms and lamb mince. I made the moussaka sauce properly according to the recipe this time and the consistency was much creamier and thicker. I also sprinkled some grated tasty cheese over the creamy sauce and baked it in the oven until the juices were bubbling and the cheese had melted and turned a delicious gold.

Just like last time, I saved some of the lamb mince and tomato sauce to make pasta for dinner.

Spaghetti Bolognaise

It seems everyone's in a lethargic mood tonight as we all stayed home tonight. Simba's been napping next to me for the past few hours. He looks so adorable when he sleeps. He's even more adorable when he dreams and starts whimpering, snorting or making other sounds in his sleep.
