Can you believe it!? It's August. We're almost three quarters of the way through this year.

I spent most of the day in bed and finally got up to give Simba a bath. I felt better in the evening and was able to keep my plans. I hate feeling like an invalid and wasting my days off work. Especially now that I'm in sync with everyone else and the weekends are the only time we're all free to catch up.

SIENA'S MORLEY
505 Walter Road (East), Morley

First impression of this place was it had the ambience of a Nero's restaurant. I was hoping the food wouldn't be too much of a disappointment.

We were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were oozing with melted cheese and were served to our table rather quickly after we ordered them.

Ivy: Pollo e Avocado - $15.5 large
chicken pieces, avocado and fresh tomatoes

The cheese was deliciously stringy as Ivy pulled a slice away.
The way pizza should be!

Fee: Super Special - $12.5 large
tomato sauce base, mozzarella, ham, hot salami,
capsicum, anchovies, mushrooms & olives

Benoit: Sirloin Steak - $26.5
with creamy mushroom sauce

Myself: Spaghetti Bolognaise - $14
lean minced meat cooked in a flavoursome homemade tomato and basil sauce

Ooh this spaghetti really hit the spot. Lately, I haven't been eating anywhere near as much pasta as I usually do. I'm suffering from withdraw.

We used an Entertainment Book voucher and the cost of dinner came to be only $15 per person. I think we were all pretty happy with our meals. Great value!
