I was invited to Christmas dinner with my neighbours tonight. After several days of being sick with a virus and then being in bed all day today with a migraine, I barely made it to dinner.

It was a delightful evening and it was nice sitting outside with the Carols in the Domain on the TV in the background. We had a nice healthy dinner, which was great as it was the first meal I'd eaten all day (at least kept down).

The dessert was divine!!

A really light mascarpone ice cream with nougat and pureed raspberries.
