Pork Chop with Sauteed Red Cabbage


I had half a red cabbage in the fridge and I know that it goes well with pork. So, I needed to find some ideas of what to cook it with. I did a quick search on google and came across this recipe that sounded nice - Adriana's Red Cabbage. The recipe asks for red cabbage - check. Onions - check. Red wine - check. Apples - check. Plums - check. Honey - check. Balsamic vinegar - check. Perfect!

I went to the kitchen and looked in the fridge for the fruit. Alas! My sisters had eaten my plums and apples. So, I decided I was just going to improvise a very simple alternative. Red cabbage, onion, some honey and balsamic vinegar. Turned out really well!
