DAY NINE – AT SEA

Lunch - Balcony Grill
cheeseburger & chips

I finally had my first cheeseburger from the grill today. It’s on deck 14 and overlooks the pool – lovely place to sit. I found Barbara here and joined her.

Barbara “Barbie” & me

Barbara was one of the most loveliest ladies I met onboard and she's one of those people that I seldom come across on my travels. I felt so at ease with her - we talked about anything and everything. I'm going to miss her very much.

I was such nice weather to just laze around outside, but I managed to drag myself back to the cabin to change for dinner. I think Noel, Fleurette, Grant and Julia thought the same thing because they were a no show tonight.

Rommel and Stefan were our waiters each night in the dining room and their service was impeccably proficient and professional, which made it worth the effort to get changed for dinner. Not to mention they were both cuties!

Appetiser: skewers

Entree: vegetable soup

Main: lamb shank with potato mash

After dinner, I went back to my cabin to “unchanged” back to my shorts and tee and ordered some pizzas. Brad #1 had proposed that I bring them pizza tonight in exchange for a bottle of wine from their crew bar. They get charged cheaper prices...how could I pass on that!?

Afterwards, we went to Jammers to watch heat one of the Princess Pop Star karaoke contest. I had nowhere near enough alcohol in me to even contemplate going up there.

this is a common occurrence – Saz with two drinks!

We went to the Vista Lounge, where they were having the Country & Western Night. Noel and Fleurette were there, in all their gear.

Not only did I have a glass of white wine spilt on me while we were having pizza earlier, but the motion of the ship caused me to spill my martini all over myself, which brought about this amusing yet embarrassing photo.

Aah Saz, you’ve done it again!
