This morning I got up just in time to be picked up by Meng and Kong to go to IKEA. I almost decided not to go and to just sleep in, but I have been wanting to go for a long time now and nothing was going to stop me!

First thing's first...time to try those swedish meatballs!

Swedish Meatballs at IKEA

The meatballs were so yummy and the gravy that they drizzled over them was delicious! They also gave me a bit of some sort of relish that I didn't even notice until I'd almost finished.

Meng had the Chicken Nuggets

We each got a hot drink as well - they offer hot chocolate, tea and coffee that you help yourself to from those instant machines and refills are free. I think will all the things to look at in the store, you could do with a few coffees throughout the day!

It's funny...Meng is actually setting himself up for moving into his new home yet I was the one going nuts and bought $500 worth of furniture. I finally got the bookcase unit to go with the glass doors I purchased last year. Kong also saw some wine racks that you can insert into a shelf unit instead of shelves and it happened to be the same range of shelves that I already have at home. So...I bought another shelf unit and some wine racks - I will finally have a proper wine rack to store my bottles! I also bought a roasting pan, a desk light, oven mitts and a few other miscellaneous items.

We had to rush home so we could drop off all my purchases before I had to go to work. It's fantastic that Kong's upgraded his car to a ute so we could fit all the things in the back.

I scoffed this Teriyaki Chicken down.

Christina also leaves for Canada today so it was good timing when I got back to say goodbye and she headed off to the airport when I went to work.

After a really busy night at work, I finally managed to leave at 0030hrs and met up with Benoit, Ivy and Long to go for supper.
