I recently spent one of my birthday gift vouchers on some things from Kitchen Warehouse (thanks Sarah!) and one of them was a Le Creuset Pie Dish - for only $20!!

I couldn't wait to use it!

So...tonight I made a Shepherds Pie.

Premium beef mince from my local IGA, garlic, onion, ground coriander, ground cumin, cracked black pepper, a can of crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and some frozen peas.

Top it with a layer of mashed potato...

...and bake in the oven until the potato starts to get that gorgeous colour.
