Today Jocelyn and I took David to dim sum at the 'Northbridge Chinese Restaurant' Lok Fok. We didn't eat much since we were still reeling from how much we ate last night at the Pelle's dinner. Afterwards, we walked around the city and did a bit of shopping and then returned home to rest.

In the evening, we went to dinner at Allure in Burswood.

For our entrees, we ordered a few dishes to share:
Sashimi platter
Goats cheese & mushroom tart
Oysters
For our mains:
David - Nori Rolls
Jocelyn & Christina - Fish (Barramundi?)

Myself - Beef Carpaccio with Manjimup Truffles

After dinner we went inside the casino to find our mothers who were happily playing the rapid roulette. After a little gambling myself, we went upstairs to Minq for a cocktail. I wasn't impressed. There are some rooms for private functions that have nice decor, but otherwise the main bar area is a small room and it doesn't have much of an atmosphere. It's just dark and gloomy.
