Salmon Sushi Roll from the Red Cross Tuckshop
Teresa’s Spaghetti in a Baklava Infused Cream
*Yay!* I didn’t have to eat the other frozen Jesters pie tonight! Marissa brought in some pasta that Teresa made after Easter and it was sooo delicious. As Marissa would call it - CCU food*.
*CCU – Cardiac Care Unit. This is the ward in the hospital where all our cardiac patients are admitted for treatment. We have a running joke that any fatty, greasy, rich creamy foods we eat will land us in the cardiac care unit one day.
Tonight we fly out to Sydney to begin our great voyage to Hawaii! I rushed home to pack all my last minute things before Ling drove me to the airport.
Aboard the plane, I considered sleeping since we were on the red-eye and would need to be refreshed to begin our day in Sydney at 7am. Of course I didn’t sleep. I decided to eat.
*Alas* they weren’t serving hot food on this flight. I ordered a sandwich and gin and tonic instead.
