[1000hrs] Swim in the pool.
[1130hrs] Went to Lot 1 and had sushi for breakfast on the go.
[1200hrs] Took the MRT to Orchard Road.
[1330hrs] Had a light lunch at the Sanctuary (by Indochine - I think this is a big company that has different food and beverage places).
I was sitting there contentedly having mouthfuls of salad, wine and working on a crossword puzzle while listening to the upbeat music and humming/singing along to myself, when the waitress brought over what looked like watermelon juice in a port glass, garnished with a cherry. I told her I didn’t order another drink, and she said that it was complimentary from the bartender. It was a watermelon shooter with either bicardi or vodka. Yummy! I caught the bartender’s eye (he was middleaged but not sleazy - just probably thought it was unusual to see a lone girl dining out) and gave him a wave. I took turns between sipping my wine and the watermelon shooter. This is the life! When I finished the shooter, another was brought to me! I asked the waitress to thank the bartender, but to tell him that I couldn’t have anymore otherwise I might not be able to make it out of there.
[1500hrs] Went to Sony Central at Wisma Atria to do some electronics shopping. I bought an mp3 player, laptop and photo printer. Whee!
[1800hrs] Picked up dinner from Lot 1 to eat back home.
[2200hrs] Took the MRT to the St James Power Station. This is an old power station that’s now been converted into a collection of night clubs. We paid SD$15.00, which allows us entry into every night club. We didn’t realise it at the time, but the admission fee also gave us a free drink but we didn’t know this until the next day when we looked at our tickets before discarding them. Bugga!
We went to the Boiler Room and Movida.
[0500hrs] We got some food at the 24 hour eatery near home.
"Dark" Char Kueh - SD$2.50
[0530hrs] Stumbled home.
