Singapore Day 5


[0930hrs] Woke up.

[1300hrs] David took us to have dim sum at Li Bai, at the Sheraton Towers.

these sweet potato chips were soooo light and crispy


pork & century egg porridge


char siu bao
mushroom dumplings
rice flour roll
prawn dumplings
scallop dumplings
drunken chicken & jellyfish
tofu & peppers yong tau foo
roast duck
prawn & mango deepfried 'things'
shanghai dumplings


Dessert
herbal turtle jelly
almond jelly




[1500hrs] A visit to the Donut Factory at Novena Square.

[1600hrs] We walked around looking at some Christmas tree decorations - they make wonderful headgear don’t they?



[1700hrs] We bought groceries from the nearby Cold Storage (a supermarket). I couldn’t resist sneaking a few photos of the pasta - $4.30 for a packet of Barilla pasta!



[1900hrs] Back at David’s house, we assisted with cooking dinner.

Spaghetti in a rich Tomato sauce with Mushrooms, Cherry Tomatoes & Vodka
garnish with toasted pinenuts
