Beef Bourguignon


Last night I used a piece of chuck steak that I defrosted from the freezer to make this. I'm having it for lunch with some steamed rice. I used celery, carrots, onion, garlic and potato with some red wine and fresh thyme sprigs from the garden.

These are some of the flora surrounding the gazebo I've been eating lunch in this week.


I love the look of creeping ivy on tree trunks!

Yes, laksa again. Tonight I added a generous tablespoon of whatever chilli paste I could find in the fridge - sambal belachan.
