I took today off work so that I could have a bit of a breather before having to get back into the swing of things. I spent the day tidying my room, did a few loads of laundry and unpacked my things from the trip.
It was also nice to get back into the kitchen. I had to raid the freezer for something to cook!
Sambal Squid with Kang KongMum's Ah CharMum hasn't made ah char for a while. It's basically a kind of Chinese pickled vegetables with chilli and crushed peanuts.
