Another lazy day today.
Mum made some soup with pork bones. I love how sweet the soup stock is from the pork. Throw in some potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and onion. I imagine she seasons with some soy sauce. I love to suck off the meat from the bones. Especially the tougher bits of collagen. I enjoy it with lots of ground white pepper, from Sabah in Malaysia, and fresh spring onions.
Mum also panfried some fish and made homemade chilli with kumquat juice to drizzle over it.
