Today was spent in a whirlwind of errands, packing luggage and cleaning the house before leaving for the airport at 10pm.
The seats on the plane were rather comfortable. When the pilot was wishing us an enjoyable flight, I thought he said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we hope you enjoy flying with Deathstar". I chuckled to myself - of course he had said 'Jetstar'.
There was a toddler wailing most of the flight and the mother didn't do much to cheer him up. The father walked him up and down the aisle for a few hours but each time they sat back down, he would start tearing up again. Being a red-eye flight, no one got much sleep and needless to say we were all pretty peeved off. All the mother did was stay in her seat and watch inflight movies.
The guy sitting in the seat behind mine rested his legs up on the back of my seat and was kicking and moving around so much that after a few hours of having a vibrating chair, I had to turn around and ask him to stop. I had to ask him again half an hour later when my chair was violently rocking while I was talking to Mum.
Argh! - apart from those two things, the flight was pretty good.
