Last night I prepared what I would have for lunch at work today.


I baked it last night and took it to work to reheat in the microwave.

Lunch at Work
barramundi fillet with julienned ginger, shallots,
chilli flakes & fresh slices of tomato


I knew I was having my scotch steak for dinner tonight, but the question was...what sides to have with it?

I decided on...

pecorino potato gratin


I also had some scallops in the fridge that I forgot to use for my platter last night.

Dinner
Scotch Steak cooked medium rare with mushrooms & chilli in butter
Pecorino Potato Gratin
Scallops with Roe


I gotta say...this was the perfect steak


...and the perfect scallops!!


I have never cooked scallops this perfect before! Seared on both sides for a few minutes on low heat - the scallops were so soft and tender. I'm still drooling just thinking about them!
