Today I went outside and picked some broccolini from my garden. I've been trying to keep on top of 'harvesting' the broccolini because I don't want the the little broccolini heads to go to flower and be wasted like the first 'batch' were. The leaves are so soft and almost velvety in texture. I washed them and gently sauteed them with some garlic and olive oil to have with some leftover roast pork for lunch before work.

After work, I put the filo pastries I'd made a few nights ago into the oven while I went to shower, feed the fish, play with Simba, etc. The filling that I improvised turned out really well! The cheese was a nice touch. I cooked some broccolini from the shops in some garlic and olive oil to go with the filo pastry.
