After work, I managed to make myself some bee hoon soup with yong tau fu and Chinese vegetables without getting called out to work. I managed to eat it all without rushing and still not get paged out. As soon as I got into bed and said goodnight to Simba, the pager went off. *Wah*
*raises her glass* "A toast: while most people eat to live, I live to eat. There's nothing like enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal with a fine bottle of wine in the company of fantastic friends. To life!"

Today for lunch (and work dinner) I whipped up a quick pasta with garlic, onions, chilli flakes, olive oil, white wine and frozen clam meat. Straight out of the freezer and into the pan - they're such small juicy pieces of clam that they don't require thawing out and cook in a few minutes without going rubbery.
