Tonight I had dinner at Marissa's place to catch up with her and Teresa. On the drive over, I was really hoping for some heavy, warm, cheesy pasta. You can imagine how happy I was to hear we were having ricotta pasta! Mr and Mrs Pelle also joined us and they brought a few warm baking dishes with the main course. They went into the oven while we started the first course. I couldn't wait!
Dessert was absolutely brilliant! Teresa and I watched on as Marissa crushed some meringues and mixed it together with some thawed frozen raspberries and lots of fresh cream.
She spooned the mixture into martini glasses and drizzled some passionfruit pulp over them.
They were so so sooo yummy! It was like pavlova in a glass.
This is the bottle of limoncello I bought while in the airport at Adelaide. It was delicious just as we anticipated, but not as nice as the homemade limoncello that Teresa makes. We must make some this year!
