FINGER FOOD FRIDAY

Amidst all the confusion and uncertainty at work lately, we've been forgetting about our newly appointed 'Finger Food Fridays'.

However, today we had an occasion to mark.

My Pork & Fennel Sausage Rolls

Ramona made 'Chinese Rolls'
They were filled with tuna and potato and wrapped in a
pastry case and deepfried. Sort of like a chiko roll.

We had an assortment of cakes.

Sweet and savoury bread.

Ramona brought in a cake - Pear and Chocolate.
It was sooo light!

I was planning on a quiet night in tonight but instead caught up with a friend I haven't seen in a while. We went to the local pub for a quiet dinner. It was quiet because everyone was next door in the pub watching the sports.

We both ordered the Marinara Linguine.

The pasta was fantastic - the sauce was deliciously rich. There was a generous helping of seafood - prawns, squid and mussels. We were both very happy with our meal choice.

We indulged in the Mud Cake with Ice Cream.
